Teen Mom 2 alums Jenelle Evans and David Eason are reportedly back in court to battle for custody of her three kids after they were removed from their care.

Eason admitted to killing Evans’ dog Nugget on social media after the French bulldog behaved aggressively toward their 2-year-old daughter Ensley, setting off a dramatic chain of events.

Members of the public were outraged, urging a boycott of Teen Mom 2 advertisers, which caused many advertisers, including Chipotle and Twix, to pull their ad dollars from the show. MTV then fired the pair, and Child Protective Services got so many calls from concerned members of the public, Ensley and her brothers were removed from their care.

Jace, 9, actually lives with Evans’ mother Barbara, but he is not permitted to see Evans until the investigation is cleared up. Kaiser, 4, has been moved to his father’s home. Kaiser’s father Nathan Griffith also appeared in court, and reportedly argued that Eason mistreated him. He previously sued for full custody, alleging that Eason is abusive.

Evans, 27, and Eason, 30, reportedly reunited with the trio at a hearing on the case in court Wednesday. According to TMZ, this is the only time she has been permitted to see her children since CPS intervened.

They reportedly left the North Carolina courtroom without their children and without talking to anyone.
